The magazine Entrepreneur has a lot of information on franchises in nearly every issue. Most of the information can also be found on their website (link below). They have comparison charts of start-up costs, franchise fees, average income and nearly everything else you would need for an accurate comparison to narrow down your choices. The magazine also directs you in obtaining more information on each franchise. I find it very useful.

As my wife is expecting triplets, I have crunched numbers and our expenses are going to skyrocket and I am wondering if anyone can share with me ideas to start a home based business to increase my income. As I will need it.

That’s a tough one. I researched a lot, but came to the conclusion that making money online or from home can be very hard. There are so many scams on the net and sites that promise you a lot money, but only if you pay them first. Beware of such sites! YOu won’t earn too much on the net. THere are so called survey sites where you can complete surveys for money, but you won’t get rich by doing so. That’s what I learned so far. Good luck to you and maybe you will have more luck finding something that suits you. Congratulations on the baby:)
